Frequently asked questions

Is converting Excel to a Gantt chart free?

Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The spreadsheet is read entirely in your browser; the file contents are never sent to a server.
Which columns are supported?
Task/Name (required), Start, End/Finish, Duration (days), Progress (%) and Predecessor. Headers are matched by name, so common variations work.
Which file formats work?
Excel .xlsx and .xls, plus .csv.
Can I edit the chart after importing?
Yes — the import opens a fully editable Gantt. Reschedule by dragging, add or remove tasks, and export to Excel, CSV or PDF.
